This flooding season has been absolute overbearing for many communities through the Midwest. What makes this so different? The challenge is that we've had a very wet season. The last several months have been some of the wettest months we've seen for many areas around the country. A wet fall leads to soaked soils, and a snowy winter means that snowmelt is waiting in the spring.
