The Big Bags USA team is excited to be travelling to Davenport, Iowa to take part in the Great Connections 2014 conference held in Davenport, Iowa.  We are looking forward to meeting many conference attendees who are interested in the latest technology in erosion control and water management.

Conference Details


The purpose of the conference is to bring Industry leaders together to learn about the state-of-practice & state-of–the–art technologies and methodologies surrounding erosion control and water management. Enjoy learning about real-world successes and failures presented by national and international leaders from the Erosion & Sediment Control industry.

Great Connections is a 3 day event beginning with a host of certification review courses and concluding with a field trip highlighting some of Davenport’s innovative erosion control and stormwater projects. Also included in the event are technical sessions, an exhibition and two social functions.
 The conference is presented by the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) Great Lakes Chapter.  They represent  professionals in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Ontario, and Wisconsin.
