Major Disaster Declaration for Texas
On April 25, 2016, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Texas to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area affected by the severe storms and flooding during the period of April 17-24, 2016.
